Visions Community Services in the West End is one work station richer, thanks to a recent gift from downtown design and development firm, Sanger & Eby.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the print and interactive media company founded in 1988 donated a Dell Optiplex Workstation to Visions, a community-based organization committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing human services that strengthen families and promote self-sufficiency.
Led by Executive Director Marcia Simmons, Visions helps young parents continue their education by providing childcare. Visions is one of 600 childcare centers nationwide and 27 in the state of Ohio who have been accredited under the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Visions also was named a Two-Star Step Up To Quality Program, and Visions provides child care and direct support services for moms, too.
"We needed another computer, and Sanger & Eby stepped up," says Simmons. "They've been a good partner for years. Their web, print and branding work has helped us focus on our mission of nurturing families today to create a better tomorrow."
