Challenge

Mid-Miami Healthcare Foundation had just completed a major capital campaign to raise funds for a new, state-of-the-art medical facility (Atrium Medical Center), bringing an unprecedented level of care to the surrounding area. The Foundation had a pressing need to align itself with the new hospital and drive, better reflect the hospital's expanded mission and services and increase the level of donations to support its mission.

Strategy

The Sanger & Eby team began with the iconic new hospital building, which provided a vast area of potential visual elements to support the brand. Drawing from the most powerful visual elements, Sanger & Eby created a visual identity, logo, and brand that clearly reflected the new positioning. Brand materials ranging from the newsletters to gala event invitations to the annual report built brand recognition and paved the way for ever improving financial results.

Results

Since the rebranding, donations to the Atrium Medical Center have increased, and The Foundation has been able to broaden its work within the community as well as continuing to build on its state-of-the-art foundation: advanced heart health technology, increased cancer care capabilities, a new daVinci® robotic surgery system and more, helping the hospital stay at the leading edge of state-of-the-art medical technology.
