Challenge

The high-end Mirador brand is a new, standalone brand developed to serve the needs of very high net worth families. With a look and feel independent of Fifth Third Bancorp, the messaging needed to communicate vision, integrity, and expertise in long-range planning to a range of target audiences, including not only the family members, but also their financial services staff and consultants.

Strategy

Sanger & Eby designed and developed the Mirador brand identity, and brought it to life both online and in print with a simple but highly sophisticated interface that strategically and engagingly highlights key message points. Careful research and strategic insights drove the brand identity, and creation of a detailed style guide ensured all communications pieces supported the overall brand messaging, enabling streamlined development.

On the website, an elegant carousel solution introduces and highlights the Mirador team, and the underlying architecture creates a powerful, extensible platform designed to support a wide range of expansion plans and functionality enhancements.

Sanger & Eby worked in close partnership with the Fifth Third IT team, partnering seamlessly to program and implement the site in the bank’s high security environment on an expedited timeline.

Results

The new brand launched successfully and immediately began to resonate with its target audiences—both the high net-worth families the company serves, and the financial team that supports them. The site’s functionality continues to extend, providing a widening range and depth of financial services tied into powerful underlying financial management systems.
