Recruiting top millennial talent is an intensely competitive arena, and Macy’s competes with the biggest and the best. We’re more than excited to say the new, highly interactive site we created for them once again puts Macy’s ahead of the game.
We started this project with extensive research on millennial trends – including general traits, habits as consumers, and how they perceive recruiting tactics. This laid the groundwork for several fun and highly engaging concepts – many of which made it onto the site.
Users can get a candid behind the scenes look at all Macy’s functions through Macy’s Snapshots. Or they can scroll through an interactive career timeline that shows what a Macy’s career looks like from Day 1 to Year 5 – and beyond. They can even get a rundown of what a day in the life of several Macy’s associates is like. The site’s also bursting with new videos and candid photos that give users an inside look at Macy’s associates.
A bold, fresh design and site structure conveys Macy’s innovation and creativity as a major retailer, giving the Macy’s College brand a young, sleek, and slightly edgy aesthetic. The site and its interactive features are responsive on all devices, catering to mobile-friendly millennials.
