Global entertainment megabrand 21st Century Fox (21CF) has brands and locations all over the world. It needed to hire all types of candidates, from corporate office personnel to film and television production staff to game developers. The HR and talent acquisition team sought a robust careers website and seamless application tracking system solution.
To win in the hyper-competitive entertainment industry talent market, 21CF needed a careers website that expressed the energy and culture of its diverse family of more than 20 entertainment companies. Intuitive job search functionality and an outstanding mobile experience were critical for attracting the tech-savvy talent that the organization needed to maintain its leading edge.
At the same time, 21CF was replacing its Taleo applicant tracking system (ATS) with a new Workday ATS, which also needed a seamless mobile job search and apply solution. The company turned to long-time partner Sanger & Eby to bring the vision to life.

An interactive map pulls new opportunities from the ATS and displays them as they’re posted to the site, giving candidates a global view of their careers at 21CF and highlighting technology and innovation.
Sanger & Eby partnered with 21CF to transition the mobile search and apply functionality from Taleo to Workday, enabling candidates to apply from any platform. Since 89% of candidates search for jobs on their mobile devices, and 45% do so at least once a day, this expanded the company’s competitive advantage in recruiting technology, younger and international talent.
RESULTS
The newly redesigned 21CF Careers site richly expresses the company’s powerful, engaging employer brand around the globe. With multiple language support and internal and external career sites, it ensures the needs of all candidates are met without creating additional burdens for the company’s HR teams. Future phases are in the planning stages as 21CF continues to build and enhance its global employer brand.
