21st Century Fox had a need for a single, streamlined portal that could meet the needs of multiple departments and provide easy access for employees.

With benefits, human resources, and payroll information existing in three separate systems with different user experiences and separate logins, 21st Century Fox employees struggled to find and correlate the information they needed. Since two of the systems were hosted externally, it was also challenging to sync and maintain information, especially with third party tools required for integration and correlation.

Further complicating the issue, benefits and policies vary across divisions and geographies, making access management even more challenging. Fox’s HR teams received a very high volume of information requests from frustrated users who either couldn’t find the data they needed, or needed help correlating differing data across systems.

Clearly, Fox needed a new solution.

Sanger & Eby partnered with Fox to create a unified HR Portal incorporating benefits, HR, payroll, and information alerts in a single elegant, responsive intranet site, using Web Services to integrate directly into Fox’s PeopleSoft implementation through the Drupal content management system (CMS) framework. This new site used Single Sign On to simplify user experience and maintain security, and the Drupal CMS was used to manage content, documents and links, with access managed through a custom PeopleSoft integration.


Building on the success of the Fox Careers website, the new MyFox4Me portal utilizes the same design framework, creating a consistent experience as users transition from candidate to employee – important in driving deeper engagement, encouraging retention, and reinforcing Fox’s innovative, edgy, yet highly inviting employer brand. Responsive design makes the site accessible to users anywhere across any device, boosting productivity and creating peace of mind for Fox employees around the world.


Streamlined processes and real-time access to information have reduced questions to HR, as well as cut time spent searching for information.

For the first time, users can manage the personal information and HR benefits details in one place.

The new system also eliminates the need for costly third party tools, helping Fox optimize resources while boosting productivity. Finally, the system was hosted in-house, maintaining a higher level of security for sensitive information.
